In 2008, with the likely election of Sen. Barack Obama as the President of the United States of America, Black people can no longer use the crimes of slavery and racism as an excuse for their personal failures.
The BlackFamilyPlanningFund.com is committed to re-introducing Black people to the concept of shame for giving birth to out-of-wedlock children.
As long as 70% of all Black babies born in America are born out-of-wedlock (the number for whites is 30%), the overwhelming majority of the Black people will never rise above the social-economic issues keeping them trapped in America's underclass.
MORE FACTS
1) More than half of all Black men in the nation's inner cities drop out of high school;
2) Black women represented 66% of AIDS diagnoses in women in 2006, though just 12-13% of American women are black;
3) An August 2003 Bureau of Justice Statistics analysis shows that 32% of Black males born in 2001 can expect to spend time in prison over the course of their lifetime.
THE PLAN
The BlackFamilyPlanningFund.com plans to raise funds to launch a public awareness campaign (online and print) to advocate in a non-partisan manner (elected officials and voters) for social policies that will reduce the births of out-of-wedlock Black children by 50% within 10 years.
THE SOLUTION
1) The establishment of Population Control Centers (to offer FREE abortion services and birth control) in every inner city Black community;
2) Deny welfare and public housing for persons with out-of-wedlock children (new cases only);
3) Require that all High School freshmen in inner city Black communities take sex education classes with a heavy emphasis on abstinence, safe sex and personal responsibility.
THE BENEFITS
1) The number of Black men in prison will be cut by more than 50%;
2) The crime rate in America will be cut by more than 50%;
3) The number of Black men to graduate high school will be increased by 200%.
All Americans will benefit from lower taxes due to reduced government expenditures for welfare, criminal justice services, public housing, etc.
